Really good stay NEAR city center

ideal location helpful staff great shower

I found the location excellent, just a short walk from Haymarket station. The staff proved helpful, and always ready to assist. My room was SPOT on. It had a superb shower. I found it ideal for my needs as a solo traveler.

The stairs to reach the rooms were somewhat steep. Guests should consider this when bringing luggage.

The proximity to public transportation stands out. Haymarket train station is just a brief walk away. Trams and buses are easily accessible. I saw there is convenient access to the airport and other parts of the city from there.

I appreciated the breakfast. it included a large bowl of fruit, pastries and toast. I noticed there were also plentiful servings of coffee. The location offers easy access to nearby eateries.

The staff members were especially cute and accommodating. I observed they handled requests with efficiency. I felt they ensured the stay was smooth and addressed any concerns promptly, a NICE service.

mixed experience, some issues noticed

stained pillows plain roof

the room seemed okay initially, but some things were off. the wardrobe door needed fixing, and the extra pillows in the drawers had noticeable stains. when i booked, the room description mentioned a garden view, but i ended up with a view of just a plain roof. these details affected my stay (more than i expected).

stale smoke thin walls

The location was acceptable. It made getting around relatively easy.

the room smelled strongly of stale smoke. i found hairs in the bathroom and on the towels, indicating poor cleaning. also, the walls were thin, and i could hear conversations and noise from adjacent rooms.

convenient location tea coffee small room bathroom cleanliness

the location was convenient for accessing transport links. the room included tea and coffee making facilities (i especially liked the biscuits!).

The room felt quite small for the price i paid. the bathroom was not as clean as i expected. I noticed some dust in the corners and on the fixtures.
